It’s been half-a-year since we went into lockdown because of the rapid spread of COVID-19. Many people are feeling the hardships of loss through death of loved ones, a job/income and their “normal” life. Everywhere we turn, we see most people wearing masks, if we’re going out at all. We have to social distance from everyone, except our immediate household.
This has caused changes in how we attend weddings and funerals. It has affected the good and the bad parts of life. Babies are born, and family and friends cannot come to visit. We can’t even properly mourn those who have passed away. Zoom has become a dependency to stay connected, yet virtual hugs don’t feel the same.
