JFS Alexander Institute for Inclusion receives Diversity in Business Award from Houston Business Journal
The Houston Business Journal recognized Alexander Jewish Family Service for their exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
This year, 36 individuals and 31 organizations across Houston have been recognized by the Houston Business Journal for showing exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The Alexander Jewish Family Service was among those recognized.
The JFS Houston Alexander Institute for Inclusion was established as a response to the experiences that individuals with disabilities faced in the workplace, places of faith, organizations and academia. The Institute shines a light on the lives and aspirations of individuals with disabilities in our city and beyond.
As the Institute’s website states, “We seek to lower stigmas and increase access for individuals with disabilities in the workplace, places of faith and communal organizations through direct service, education, arts and advocacy.”
