OLAM CHESEDYIBANEH (THE WORLD IS BUILT ON KINDNESS)

Psalm 89:3

First Verse:

‍We should strive to make a difference.

To this goal we must stay true.

Just can’t stand by while there’s suffering.

There’s so much we can do.

In G-d’s eyes we’re all His children.

Each one special in their own way.

The less fortunate among us, we must protect without delay.

Let’s build a world that’s paved in kindness

and a world where we all care.

This can be our future.

This should be our prayer.

Second Verse:

‍There’s no time like the present.

No reason to delay.

It’s a most important mitzvah.

It’s the right and Jewish way.

So let’s not wait until tomorrow.

We are commanded from heaven above.

To be kind and to protect them.

To show them all our love.

Let’s build a world that’s bathed in kindness

and a world where we all care.

For our brothers and our sisters.

Yes, this should be our prayer.
