Looking Forward - May 10, 2021
Let's look forward with optimism and see the possibility that lies in a new day.

Alexander Jewish Family Service Friends –
Mondays struggle with a bad reputation. Signaling the end of the weekend we often approach Mondays with a sense of disappointment or resignation. This can lead us to start the week off from a place of apprehension rather than optimism.
The Canadian author, Lucy Maud Montgomery once said:
“Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”
As we begin a new week-rather than thinking of it as returning to the problems of last week – perhaps we can look forward with optimism and see the possibility that lies in a new day with no mistakes in it yet.
The German philosopher, Meister Eckart, said:
“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.”
By allowing each day to be a beginning we need not feel so burdened by the mistakes or challenges of the past but rather can be open to the possibility of shaping a new and different future.
Wishing you a wonderful start to a new week full of possibility.
Best wishes,
